Marketing Intern

Paid internship for students* majoring in Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics, Business Administration and/or Management, or equivalent. This position provides an opportunity to learn the business of a premier office hardware and technology company from various perspectives within the industry.
Core responsibilities
  • Support marketing activities (i.e. “blocking and tackling”) such as social media posts, blogging, newsletters, sending press releases, eblasts, etc.
  • Provide meeting support and assist with coordination efforts
  • Support/administer CRM
  • Prepare and analyze weekly metrics and other detailed reporting
  • Marketing research
  • Assist with projects and additional tasks
Essential Activities and Requirements
Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year University and able to work full or part-time, depending on university program regulations (up to 40 hours/week full-time and up to 20 hours/week part-time) and attend school, if required
  • Must be a Junior or Senior status, in good standing, attaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
  • Must have prior exposure to a business, preferably marketing, environment
  • Conduct primary and secondary research that will be used to support current and future business efforts
  •  Accurately perform tasks until complete, and in a timely manner
  • Effective communication is a necessity
  • Can work independently, as well as in a collaboration environment
Preferred Experience in the classroom- or life-application setting (not required)
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials that will be used by our sales team
  • Coordinate promotional packages, including product video shoots, copy, graphic design, and production
  • Product branding support by defining associations that contribute to product messaging
  • Support development of product and face-to-face customer feedback activities
  • Assist product demonstration team in experimental marketing efforts
  • Create situation analysis: Outline of the current market, collect customer data that supports the development of product marketing strategies
  • An understanding of the copier and workflow software industries preferred
