Paul Hanna, Founder and President
Paul Hanna is the founder and president of Blue Technologies and Blue Technologies Smart Solutions where he oversees all aspects of the company. He directs his energies towards building a powerful team while remaining a continual “student of the game” in the ever-changing office technology industry. Under his leadership and a commitment to excellence, Blue Technologies has secured countless awards locally, nationally and in the office technology industry and has grown to over $50M in revenue and over 200 full-time employees in Northeast and Central Ohio.
A graduate of Purdue University, Paul received Ernst & Young’s “2000 Entrepreneur of the Year” Award in the Business Services Category. He has been a longtime supporter of OhioGuidestone and was the recipient of the Starlight Guardian Humanitarian award by Our Lady of the Wayside for his philanthropic commitment to Northeast Ohio. In addition to his charitable giving, he is also a staunch advocate of St. George Orthodox Church. Paul and his wife, Margo, have four children: Lauren Hanna Masuga, Jessica Hanna Shaffalo, Paul Hanna Jr and Elizabeth Hanna. Paul and Margo make their home in Columbia Station, Ohio where Paul is an avid farmer, hunter, and fisherman.
Bill Nelson, Vice President
A graduate of Ohio University, Bill Nelson is profoundly entrenched in the Northeast Ohio business community including the Association of Legal Administrators. Bill focuses on building relationships and driving revenue in addition to developing and managing our sales leadership team. Bill, his wife Darcy, and their son reside in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, where he is actively involved in youth athletics and watching his son play baseball and golf.
David Morrill, Sales Manager
David “Bubba” Morrill has made his mark at all three Blue Technologies offices, going where his skill set is needed to drive revenue. In the process, has helped to develop some of the most successful talents in the history of the company. A graduate of The Ohio State University, David is known throughout our region as the “Ambassador of Fun.” David and his wife Christy have two grown children and live in Bay Village, Ohio.
Clara Nader, Chief Financial Officer
Clara secured a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Cleveland State University, receiving an award of Excellence in Accounting from Rotary of Cleveland and graduating Summa Cum Laude. Before joining Blue Technologies in 2012, she worked in public accounting and the service industry, holding positions as a Tax Manager, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer. Clara is currently a member of the Ohio Society of CPA’s and serves as Treasurer of Saint George Orthodox Church, where she has been a board member since 2003. She is also the President of NOLAA (Northern Ohio Lebanese American Association). Clara and her husband, Samir, live in Westlake and have four children.
Ed Kromar, Vice President of Service
Blue Technologies is honored to have Ed Kromar at the helm of our service team and serve as the owner of the Commitment to Excellence. Ed has run the service delivery model since the inception of the company and has also served at the President of the Konica Minolta Dealer Service Advisory Council for the United States. In this capacity he led round table meetings with other office equipment dealerships at quarterly meetings. Things such as new product feedback, service management and service level agreement metrics were discussed with each other and with the R&D team from Konica Minolta. Ed and his wife, Teresa, live in Eastlake and have two grown children.
Paul Sems, Chief Technology Officer
An MBA recipient from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, Paul Sems brings a strong combination of business sense and high technical aptitude. After graduating with his BS in Computer Science from Akron University, Paul spent many years as a network engineer, running his own business and as the Director of IT at a multi-million-dollar organization. Today Paul shares his knowledge and provides leadership to Blue Technologies Smart Solutions, our technology division. Paul and his wife Julie make their home in Medina and have four beautiful children.
Beth Palamara, Director of Communications
While Beth’s career began in sales in January 1996, she was quickly identified to be a “team player” and a strong “multi-tasker,” highly valuable when growing the Blue team. She has worked to develop the human resources department, implement company marketing/branding initiatives and focuses on daily corporate business strategy. Beth is originally from the Pittsburgh, PA area and is a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband Paul are the proud parents of two daughters and reside in Bay Village, Ohio. She strong supporter of OhioGuidestone and is a member of the steering committee for the Friends of the Westside Catholic Center.
